| AHMEN.......short of a catastrophe car sits! Would I take (painfully) mid to high teens yes! Re parting for nothing less than a Z06 or ZR1........I was same way until I researched the options of all of them! You can not remove the roof on a Z06 but can on a coupe. yes initially less rwhp by 60-70ish! Now take the LS3 motor in the coupe and it has thicker cylinder walls than in the Zo6/ZR1 so it is safer to super charge! With 38k for a low mileage 2008 6 spd Z51 coupe............add in about 14k for wide body Z06 fenders, badd azz 20s/19s, a Pro Charger D1 super charger with boost a pump/injectors/ methanol injection to keep it all safe etc.............I will be looking at 650-680 rwhp with a car that looks kick azz and total investment 54k. same price you would pay for a bone stock nice 2009 ZO6 or a 2008 ZO6 with a few mods but not supercharged! End of the day the 08 coupe vette with a total of 14k in mods will surpass any rwhp I ever saw out of my TTZ! That was the whole issue about parting with my Z I had to have faster and the ZO6 as it was stock.........didnt do it for me in comparison. Car I bought with plan I followed with friends who have them and did same thing........should be good. NO more shop after shop after shop with issue after issue after issue! Once again though........absolute KUDOS to Greg and his shop and work/trouble shooting they did to get my last build running better than it should be.
Out of 340 views I had TWO tire kickers (NO offense). SO tells me even if I dropped a few thousand off ask (as everyone alwasy does) IF people were buying/looking than more than 2 would have inquired! Looks like car gos to storage unit under cover! She wont be happy but its time to move on! It will sell when it sells and if anyone knows of someone wanting to buy a Z they do not have to do much to...........I would take mid to high teens to move it. I would add 4k in brakes if buying and be done with it and go give it hell! Otherwise car will sit waiting for the right buyer! Its not for everyone! Thanks for the feedback
